Frank Ocean: 50 Shades of Gay
"4 summers ago I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Everyday almost. And on the days we were together, time would glide. Most of the day I'd see him, and his smile. I'd hear his conversation and his silence...until it was time to sleep. Sleep I would often share with him. By the time I realized I was in love, it was malignant. It was hopeless. There was no escaping."
Though some have said it to be a stunt to publicize his upcoming album Channel Orange, I think that he is being genuine and commend him for taking such a risk. How do you think this will affect his audience and album sales? Do you think Frank will be the next gay icon a la Lady Gaga or Liza Minnelli?
At least Frank has good friends that have his back and are willing to take some of those ladies off of his hands. Tyler the Creator (@fucktyler) tweets:

Black people: The Truth EXPOSED!
Dear brothers (and sisters) from another color:
We here at www.supergilles.com realize that race is always a sensitive subject. That's precisely why we decided to give y'all a lil' more insight into what certain behaviors within the black community actually translate to. The significance may surprise you.
This whole time you thought we were:
a. Being obnoxious by improperly talking into a cellphone while it is on speaker, even though we can easily hold it up to our ear.

In actuality, we are avoiding brain cancer.

b. Putting gaudy jewelry into our mouth because we thought it was fashionable.

In actuality, we are stock-piling assets in preparation for a Ron Paul presidency.

c. Leaving the house without a shirt, knowing that we will not be able to enter most business establishments.

In actuality, we are avoiding tan lines at all costs.

d. Buying Chrysler 300s because...well, I don't know why y'all think we buy 300s.
In actuality, we are single-handedly supporting the domestic automotive industry. We buy American.
e. Eating chicken because it is delicious.
In actuality, we receive huge sums of money from a SuperPAC funded almost entirely by the Chic-Fil-A cows. The deliciousness, while true, is merely a bi-product of our fundraising. Before you ask, we use most of this money to reinvest in the economy, through Chrysler.

f. Buying True Religion jeans.
g. Cheating on our wives with white women.
In actuality, we're getting revenge on Thomas Jefferson.
We truly hope this has been informative for you all today, lolololol. Happy 4th!!!
Summertime, Winter fashion???
The 4th is right around the corner.
I know you're not thinking about Winter, AT ALL.

Hippius in Sand and Ocean Spray.
Dookie Rope in Snow.
As you can see, some chick named Yokoo makes scarves. Cop yours here. I think she's having a sale or something...probably b/c it's hot as sh*t outside. But, you might as well get while the getting's good.

Saint Laurent, No Yves
The famed Yves Saint Laurent label is said to be changing its name to Saint Laurent Paris. The label was founded in 1962 by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé, and new creative director Hedi Silmane is said to be re-branding the fashion house to usher it into a new era. The iconic YSL logo, however, is said to remain the same. My issues with this are twofold: 1) The name isn't going to be any shorter. If they're trying to make it more succinct, wouldn't shortening it be the key? 2) It bothers me when letters don't match up with the words. So the "YSL" logo will be the same, but there will be no Y. To me that's a WTF?
Question: How will this affect the rap game?
"Close your eyes and imagine, feel the magic, Vegas on acid, Seen through Yves Saint Laurent glasses"
- Kanye West, "Diamonds"
"Seen it on the blog, These muhf*ckas cost, Yves Saint Laurent, You can tell by the fonts"
- Tyga, "I'm So Raw"
"Is that her in the VIP line, With the Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent, Used to drive a Nissan now she in a Beamer"
- Future, "Turn on the Lights"
"By your appearance I can get a glimpse of your vibe, They say you are what you wear, I am Yves Saint Laurent mixing Martin Margiela"
- Diggy Simmons, "Digg is Like"
"Yves Saint Laurent knitted, shorts bermuda, You would think they were Pucci if you overlooked Medusa"
- Pusha T, "Comedy Central"

My take:::
Wellllll, this pretty much sums up everything. If I can make something that you can relate to...that you can live to, I'm happy. Actually, I'm beyond happy. Hell, it's kinda the reason I started doing this sh*t in the first place. I just hope y'all feel me. Successfully Lost coming soon.
